Real artists are selling editions, right?

In terms of shopping cart services, ShopLocket is the new kid on the block. I tried it 10 minutes ago and it spontaneously got a place in my heart.

For me personally, it is a cool new solution for selling limited edition prints. In recent years  I was looking for an online service which would allow me to sell limited editions of my prints. I mean, really limited in the way that the service would track stock. A set and forget kinda solution. I like a number of photography shopping carts out there and I am already using some, but I think the new service shoplocket.com is going to make it into my toolbox. One reason is, it is very affordable. They charge a fee of 2.5%, which is less than what I am used to from other services. But the main reason is: They keep stock of my inventory allowing me to really sell limited. Now that feels like a tool for a real artist :-) Ok, ok, maybe I am not a great artist, however, I signed up for their beta service and started my first trial. Here it is:

I you like to sell your prints in a similar (and maybe editioned) way, then head over to shoplocket.com and sign up for their beta. It's free.

I wish you good light!
