Her suffering made good sense
One could be of the opinion that it does not mean anything to win an internet award for a photograph. Sure, there are plenty of web awards. And their quality, well, varies.
But still, when I got notified today that my snow portrait of model Amelia got a signature award on DailyAwards, then for me it meant something:
Amelia had to suffer for this photo. Not only did she have to sit hours for the colorful makeup, but also we did spray quite chemical artificial snow onto her face and body. She took it very bravely - not a hint of a complaint. Now that the photo won an award - and be it only a tiny little web award - it means that her suffering made good sense.
Does it make her happy that her portrait won an award - you bet! Ain't that something that makes good sense?
